And by improved, I just mean improved via the wonderful SBnation layout. The writing ain't getting any better, let me tell you.

Anyway, we've upgraded highly from the old site if you couldn't tell on the first glance. Nice new digs, I think. Here at SBnation, Burgundy Wave will still continue to try and be the best Rapids blog on the net, or at the very least the best looking one. I'm beyond thrilled to join the gang of awesome bloggers here at SBnation.com – although I've been writing for the Denver hub here for a few months now – it's a fantastic site and it's good to be working as a part of it.

For those of you who weren't among the four person reader base we had before, BurgundyWave.com is a Colorado Rapids themed blog dedicated to giving opinion pieces, common sense speeches, game previews and reviews all about everyone's favorite team that wears burgundy and blue in Colorado that play doesn't on ice… the whole eighteen yards. And yes, the jokes rarely get better than that one.

To anyone who doesn't know who I am, my name is Chris White, but you can call me UZ. I'm a Coloradan with upstate New York roots and have been a mainstay on several SBnation sites for just under a full year now, much to the chagrin of the people who run those sites in some cases I'm sure. I'm known mostly for my horrible jokes and my strange writing style – I hope you really like dashes – and frequent spelling mistakes caused by me typing all my articles at 3 in the morning.

If you're a Rapids fan, a fan of any other MLS team, someone from Colorado who has even a tiny twinge of interest in the sport of Association Football, or even someone who wants to bandwagon an MLS team without the burden of wanting to watch your team actually win things, feel free to drop in and talk about whatever you'd like! Well, not whatever you'd like. I'd prefer to keep the Rush Limbaugh conversations elsewhere on the internet.
