(Just to avoid confusion, for the throngs of people who are seeing this article from NewsNow, the joke is that there is no team called the Vancouver Rapids in North America or otherwise as far as we know.)

No, you read the title of this article correctly, don't squint and rub your eyes.

The Scottish Sun — truly the pinnacle of all sporting news sources — has put out a report regarding several of the top players from money-drained Glasgow Rangers and how they're about to leave. Interestingly, it turns out that some team called the Vancouver Rapids have already put a deal in place with Carlos Bocanegra.

I've already said that I would love for the Rapids to try and get a deal with the US Captain, as he would instantly improve our back line which has been a problem this season. Something tells me that the typo made there is more leaning toward the Rapids side than the Vancouver side, though.

Of course, I certainly wouldn't be complaining if somehow the Scottish Sun scooped us all and Bocanegra is in Burgundy some time soon. Something makes me doubt the veracity of this report though.
