At the end of the latest Seattle-Colorado game on Saturday, Zakuani finally got his first time on the pitch in well over a year. He didn't do anything particularly noteworthy but at the end of the match, with all eyes on him, he and Mullan hugged and exchanged jerseys. An iconic moment and a final stamp on the drama that had surrounded the two of them for 14 months.
It may never be dropped in the minds of some fans, but at least between Mullan and Zakuani we've finally gotten the closure that the two of them had likely hoped for from the beginning.
