Casey will finish the season with a disappointing two goals in eighteen appearances, a far cry from his return last year that saw him net six goals in six games before the Achilles injury sidelined him for a year. His status on the team will surely be a big part of the off season as the Rapids decide whether to keep or let go their $400,000 man for another season as he tries to recreate the dominance he showed from 2009-2011.
