We'll start with mine:

I really, really thought that Chicago was going to have a shot at it if they could get past Houston. After all, every single year a team that nobody thinks is going to do anything somehow sneaks into the final, right? Well, that's out for me so I'm going to stick to the prediction I made before the season even started and say the Galaxy will take on DC United in the MLS Cup final in a blast-from-the-past sort of game. DC have put together an unbelievable run of late despite missing DeRo, and I could easily see them taking it out of LA's hands, just like they did so many times in the old days. DC 2, LA 1 in the final.

Here are the other predictions, courtesy of my fellow Burgundy Wave writers…

Ben:

The Houston Dynamo: because God hates us all.

Tim:

MLS Cup Final Prediction – Seattle 2 – Sporting KC 1

In their first three seasons in MLS Seattle has brought home some metal. This year they failed to win the US Open Cup and lost the Cascadia derby to Portland. They must be itching for a rematch of the US Open Cup game and this time they will get their win. As much as I hate to say it.

Virginia:

I think San Jose will win just because a San Jose MLS Cup really would be a natural disaster. (Virginia never actually wrote one for me so I'm paraphrasing what she should have said.)

****

So that's three votes for San Jose and one vote a-piece for DC, Seattle and Houston. Who do you think will make the final and hoist the cup at the end of November?
