OK, so it's really not all that impressive to win two games with two clean sheets against Houston's backups and one of the worst offenses in the history of Major League Soccer. Still, most keepers behind a defense as bad as Colorado's don't get clean sheets at all, so we were impressed by what we saw from Stew Ceus this season. (His performances in the Open Cup, against Swansea City and in reserve games were also pretty solid.)
If Pickens gets a longer term injury at some point (heaven forbid…) then we'll get to see a much better picture of how the kid's future will pan out. Until then, we're just going to be giddy at the incredibly small sample size
