Every year, the editors of the SB Nation blogs around Major League Soccer do a mock draft together. It features every blogger picking the players for their teams, which usually leads to a more accurate representation since we all know just what our teams need.

Unfortunately, this year I had a misadventure involving my lymph nodes and I missed the live draft thanks to illness. (No fun, lemme tell you.) I didn't completely agree with the selection that they made, but I'm not going to complain, the whole 'me missing it' thing was pretty much all my fault. In the end, they ended up mocking Jamaican forward DeShorn Brown to Colorado at the No. 6 pick.

Colorado also picked up attacking midfielder Ian Christianson and center back Jose Diaz using their two picks in the second round in the mock. The full SB Nation draft can be found here.
