For the past couple of weeks, I've been writing up little blurbs on some of the MLS prospects that could land in Colorado, either at the top or bottom of the draft. They hold the No. 6 overall selection in the first round, two picks in the second round, and might end up with other picks if the team is feeling saucy in the trade market. (That No. 3 pick that Toronto holds might be particularly juicy, having two of the top six picks in the draft wouldn't be a bad thing!)

Here are the nine players that I outlined in my previews. Some of them are possible No. 6 picks, some are second rounders — the likely second rounders are noted:

Eriq Zavaleta: Big target forward, could be converted back to center back.

Walker Zimmerman: Possibly the best center back in the draft, and my personal favorite prospect, big guy who can defend and score goals.

Eric Schoenle: Might be a 'reach', but a great defensive prospect who suffered a bad season from his team in 2012. (Likely second rounder.)

Andrew Ferrell: Physical center back who can also play in the midfield, probably going No. 1 overall.

Mikey Lopez: Talented and versatile central midfielder, might be attacker or holding MF in MLS.

DeShorn Brown: Speedy, Omar Cummings-esque Jamaican forward who would add to outside striker depth.

Kekuta Manneh: Another speedy forward who could add to the outside striker depth. The Gambian is one of the biggest unknowns of the class, but he showed well at the combine and has a GA contract.

So, that's the field that I've set. Which of those guys would you like to see in burgundy? Is there a prospect (Erik Hurtado, Erik Finley, Kyle Bekker, someone else?) that you would prefer that I didn't list?
