Let's get this straight, right up front and from the get go — this week's Goal of the Week competition in MLS is going to be won by Vancouver's Daigo Kobayashi. The goal he scored this week was absolutely out of this world, and is probably going to be in the running for Goal of the Year by the time the season is over.
It's a damn shame that he's not going to have a chance in hell of winning the competition with Kobayashi also on the ballot. Welp, next time.
