When the Gabriel Torres signing — which hasn't happened yet but is still completely expected — was announced by Chris Bianchi a few days ago, he also mentioned that the Rapids were looking at one other goal-scorer to help out the team's often anemic offense.
According to a whole slew of different resources all over twitter, here's one of the many right here, that mystery man is going to be Uruguayan striker Vicente Sanchez.
He wouldn't exactly be a signing of the caliber of Gaby Torres, but it's still nice to see that the team is being linked to some high-class international names.
