Are you ready for preseason to be over? I know I'm ready for preseason to be over. It's the beginning of March, games with meaning are only about a week away (for every team that isn't the Rapids, it seems) and the Desert Diamond Cup will wind down today for the Rapids with a match against the New England Revolution.
Since there's no gametime left and the Rapids are going to have to name that final roster sooner rather than later, we can probably expect heavy use of the team's trialists like Jose Mari and Samuel Galindo today, with less emphasis on the guys we already know have signed for the team. Since the Rapids have the extra week off, they'll be able to make up for any lost conditioning that giving the minutes in this game would have provided.
