Coming into the home stretch of the season, Colorado was in dire need of some extra class offensively. Though they seemed relatively assured of a playoff spot, they had been struggling to score goals. The answers came through two late-season signings in Vicente Sanchez and Gabriel Torres. Though Torres got the hype, it was Sanchez who proved to be the key signing when it came to a playoff push.
He might have been old, but the guy was a wizard.
