The least-kept secret in MLS over the past few weeks was that Zat Knight was going to be signed by the Colorado Rapids. Only paperwork was keeping the Rapids from getting their man for a while, but the wait was finally ended on Wednesday evening when the Rapids officially signed the large central defender.
Knight will, more than likely, see the starting XI right away after training with the team for so long, especially considering the inept defense that has continued to squander points away without him there.
