PODCAST – Hello Rapids sickos. Happy we had a week without a Colorado Rapids loss, sort of. This week on Holding The High Line, Red gives Rabbi a week off. He solo pods to discuss the few loose ends from the transfer window. He celebrates Michael Barrios. There’s updates on the arrivals of Rafael Navarro and Sidnei Tavares. Red pods after attending Wednesday’s nights Rapids 2 home game, which effectively had a first team lineup. They scored first but still lost 1-3. He talks about how that happened. Apparently NoBo is the new nickname for the Northern Boundary at least. That Rafael Navarro debut though, sort of.

In the middle of the show, Burgundy Wave photographic journalism John Babiak joins via WhatsApp from Sydney, Australia. We discuss how the USWNT underperformed, what the Colorado girls did well and poorly, and some behind-the-scenes media stuff. HTHL Inside Baseball, World Cup edition. Red finishes the show off with an Ask HTHL about his favorite thing about being a part of the Rapids Community.

He’s a professional rabbi during the day and the author of the well regarded Backpass series, which started at Burgundy Wave. He watches the Pids from a far, having moved to Pittsburgh. He also covers the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL Championship for Pittsburgh Soccer Now.
