Burgundy Wave has been led by Managing Editor Matt Pollard since November 2022. We were founded by Chris White in July 2010 when he felt there needed to be more local coverage of the Colorado Rapids and soccer in Colorado. The site was originally independent on blogger.com and joined SB Nation that September. We have been independent from SB Nation since May 2023.
