2012 Player Rating And Review – Wells Thompson
Wells Thompson was on the outside looking in the second that the team selected Oscar Pareja as their new manager last January. I think we all knew that Wellsy was unlikely to see a career in burgundy after 2012, and a lot of people predicted he wouldn't even make it to the end of the…

College Cup 2012: Jose Gomez Fails To Impress Against Indiana
Unfortunately, Gomez fell flat against the Indiana Hoosiers as the Blue Jays fell, 1-0. Daniel Robertson, on the SB Nation College Cup stream, detailed his somewhat middling performance: The MLS combine will probably matter more to Gomez than the College Cup ever would, in the end. Plenty of potential MLS stars have seen their stocks…

Marvell Wynne, Hunter Freeman, Jamie Smith Have One Week To Re-Sign
If the three of them aren't back on the roster with new contracts by Friday, they'll be eligible for the second round of the draft. HUMBERTO SUAZO WATCH 2012
The biggest reason why the 'Suazo to MLS' rumors were shot down when @MLSTransfers put them out (other than the fact that there's zero proof that MLSTransfers is actually a legit group of rumor mongers) was that Suazo had reportedly signed a big new contract with Monterrey recently. Turns out that might be bogus, at…

Marvell Wynne Out Of Re-Entry Draft
Quite frankly, I wasn't really worried about Wynne tomorrow in the first place. With the bloated salary he has been carrying — the same salary that made the Rapids decline their option on him in the first place — I have doubts that any team would want to get him in the first round of…
