Denver, Colo.- Burgundy Wave looks back at the Denver Summit “The Kickoff” at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. Summit played Washington Spirit and Trinity Rodman to a 0-0 draw. Attendance was 63,0004, an NWSL single-game record. The previous record was 40,091, when Bay FC hosted Washington at Oracle Park in San Francisco last summer. It was also a Women’s World Football league match record. It was the highest attended WoSo match in America, not counting USWNT and World Cup matches.
