Inglewood, CA– It was a game without meaning when the USA took on Turkiye at SoFi Stadium. Despite this, it was a fascinating affair, with a late winner from Turkiye giving them their first win of the World Cup and stopping the USMNT in their tracks right before the knockout stage. Former Rapid Auston Trusty scored and went 90 minutes in the 3-2 loss. The United States rested a majority of their starters, and it showed with a lack of quality in decisive moments, especially on the backline. The USMNT is through to the round of 32, but with a bad taste in their mouth. Here are the photos from the thrilling loss.
