Seattle, WA– The United States is out of the World Cup. They were the final of the co-hosts to fall, but all three lost in the Round of 16. The USA did not get revenge for losing in the same round to the same team in 2014. They did not get further than they did in Qatar four years ago. All the good performances and vibes from the group stage stalled out in the knockouts. Bosnia and Herzegovina were not good enough to punish the USA. Belgium was. The USMNT chose the worst time to have their worst two halves of the tournament, and while this tournament wasn’t a categorical failure, it sure was a disappointment. Especially after that performance. Here are the photos from the game.
