Commerce City, Colo. – The Colorado Rapids defeated LAFC 1-0 midweek. It was an own goal that won it. Still it was good performance and a fourth straight home win. Here’s some fun photos from the night.
The Rapids won the game on a first half own goal by Jeremy Ebobisse. Colorado went on to win the match 1-0. It was a fourth straight home win and another clean sheet. Hamzat Ojediran and Miguel Navarro were both subbed out for injury. They played well. Youssef Maziz made his first start for the club. His debut was the previous match in which he got an assist in the opening goal of a 2-0 win. Rafa Navarro did miss a penalty late in the first half.
Colorado move on to a Saturday away match at San Diego Football Club. The two teams played in the first game back from the World Cup break. Colorado won the match at the death 1-0 but it was a close game with San Diego having the better of the chances.
