So, the Rapids are currently dead last in the Western Conference, but not all is lost! There is a chance for revenge on Wednesday when the teams play each other again, and the Rapids can bump themselves right back up into seventh place in front of the fans at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. So, yeah. Friday's loss to the Portland Timbers was yet another frustrating one this season where we saw the team do some good stuff, but nothing good enough to actually snatch a win away. Finishing might be a big point in the off season considering how most of the players on the team can't seem…

The 1-0 loss to the Portland Timbers wasn't what anyone would call a great display, but Matt Pickens continued his strong play as he made a handful of saves to keep the Rapids in the game until the bitter end. One of those saves might have been the save of the year for the Rapids.…

It looks like the race for the wooden spoon is going to run through the two game series in Colorado and Portland in late August and early September. If Colorado wins both games, they'll have just about guaranteed that…

Conor Casey – 3 Looked gassed, was trying to do too much because the guys around him weren't doing too much to get the ball into the area. When Casey has the second most touches of the ball out of anyone on the team, you've probably had a bad game.

We got a surprise when the game started though, Hendry was in the starting 18 and represented the defensive midfielder spot on the bench. That gave a bit of hope to the fans, hoping that we would see Thomas take the field even if it was only for five or six minutes near the end…
