DENVER – Denver NWSL has officially hired Jen Millet as President, the expansion club announced Thursday morning. The club’s first President is a Denver native and has NWSL experience.

“I am incredibly honored and excited to be named President of Denver NWSL. Returning to my hometown to lead this groundbreaking franchise is a dream come true,” said Millet.

“I am passionate about building a club that not only excels on the field but also fosters a strong connection with our diverse community. Together, we will create a culture of excellence and innovation, bringing the joy of women’s soccer to Denver and inspiring the next generation of athletes. I can’t wait to get started.”

Millet previously served as the Chief Operating Office of Bay FC, an expansion side that started play in NWSL in 2024. She oversaw the club being top three in ticket revenue with 10,000 season ticket members. Denver NWSL has already become the fastest NWSL expansion side to hit 10,000 season ticket deposits.

This comes after Denver NWSL have announced plans for a Women’s Soccer Specific Stadium at Santa Fe Yards and a training ground and temporary stadium in Centennial.

Millet on the surface ticks all the boxes you would want as a top executive. A Colorado native who gets the market and shares the values of the community. Prior experience running a first-year NWLS team. Generally having financial success while doing so. All this to set up a good launch of the training facility, temp stadium, permanent stadium, and all the business side getting off the ground well.

All signals are that this club is going to do well at the grass roots level and financially. The next steps are to make the right higher at the technical level (General Manager, Head Coach, etc.) be competitive on the field in year one.
